Union Station is a private event venue in downtown Charleston with an open floor plan, exposed brick, a built-in bar, and room to shape the layout around your event. Here’s a quick look at capacity, floor plan, walkthrough, and what’s included.

The room can be configured in a number of ways, with common arrangements including theater-style, classroom-style, boardroom, banquet, and cocktail-style setups. Final capacity depends on the event format, furniture plan, and flow of the space.
Hosting a smaller group? The front bar area is a good fit for groups of 30 or fewer. It gives you a more intimate setting for smaller gatherings, without making the room feel too large for the guest count.

Main Event Space
The main room for seated dinners, cocktail-style receptions, presentations, ceremonies, dancing, and more. The open floor plan, exposed brick, and functional roll-up doors give the space character while keeping the layout flexible.
Built-In Bar
A dedicated bar area for beverage service during your event. It can also work well for smaller gatherings, welcome drinks, or a pre-event reception.
Upstairs Lounge
Additional lounge space separate from the main event room. This can be used for wedding parties, VIP guests, event staff, or as a more tucked-away spot during the day.
Catering Prep Room
A dedicated prep space for the culinary team to plate, stage, and support food service during your event.
Also included: 200 natural wood Chiavari chairs, 15 sixty-inch round tables, and standard bar glassware.
Parking nearby: Adjacent paid city parking is available next to the venue, giving guests a convenient parking option in downtown Charleston.
